You may not think that gratitude and clean water go together but in my world they do.
Growing up on a lake offered summer days filled with water based activities. We swam for hours each day under the watchful eye of my mother, a former life guard. I have always loved the lake, the smell, the sound and, the memories of time spent with family and friends. I want to preserve this for my children.
This is where the gratitude comes in, I am blessed and grateful to have been given the opportunity by my parents to grow up in such a wonderful way and I intend to be a part of keeping our lakes clean, swimmable and viable for futures to come.
I no longer live on a lake, but as a Minnesotan, lakes and waterways surround me. Rain that falls onto city streets and parking lots is diverted to catch basins, which in turn send polluted water directly to our water sources. This direct flow allows metals, oil and brake dust to be carried un-treated into our water.
Percoa filters this water before it makes it to the lakes.
Percoa reduces the amounts of pollutants being dumped into or waterways.
In my world gratitude and clean water go together, I will never take clean water for granted and I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to keep it that way.
